Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated and smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, baking powder, salt, flour, and ground cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep the bread light and fluffy.
If using, fold in the chopped walnuts or pecans and chocolate chips for extra flavor and texture.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Slice the banana bread and serve it warm with a dollop of Greek yogurt on top and a sprinkle of nuts for added crunch. You can also drizzle honey over the slices for an extra touch of sweetness.
